As we start a new month so we start learning about new information.
In Math we will be working on Addition and Subtraction. Continue working on numbers, counting groups, and recombining numbers because this will come into play during addition and subtraction. Also work on measurement- remembering words such as capacity, balance, weight, length.
Social Studies and Science are discussing the important holidays in February and why we celebrate each of those years. We found out on Groundhog's Day we will have 6 more weeks of winter.
Language Arts we will be discussing Doing Our Part. Continue working on letter/sound recognition and sight words. We are currently working on our last book. The last day to order a book is February 10. The students are excited to make this book, they have enjoyed previous books.
