Class Rule

You are welcome to do anything as long ass you are not disturbing your learning or the learning of others.

Class Competition

Dates: Now through the end of the Second Quarter
(January 20, 2012)

Competition: the class with the highest class average (above a C average) will win a Pizza Party.

~The second place class (above a C average) will also win a prize.

[However, if you have an F, you will not participate, so help your class win!]

Extra Credit Opportunities

Students may earn extra credit in science by finding and writing about examples of the science we’re currently studying in the real world. For example, if we are studying technology, then a student may find a current article (within the last year) and write a 3 sentence summary, one sentence of how it relates to our current studies, and one sentence of their opinion on the current event. (5 total sentences) This written work would earn extra credit. (Up to 9 each quarter- that’s one a week.)

Students may also bring in boxes of tissue, up to three boxes each quarter, for extra credit.
