Choose Our School

Choosing a school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will make as a family. We recognize that one size does not always fit all and thank you for your consideration of Innovations International Charter School of Nevada. We encourage you to carefully consider your child’s specific needs and how IICSN can meet them as you contemplate the next step of his/her educational journey.

Customized Education

At IICSN, we offer our students a customized approach to education based on the needs of the community and the individual. We offer the following:

  • All day kindergarten
  • A comprehensive before- and after-school program complete with meals, homework assistance, and opportunities to participate in intramural team sports
  • Access to technology—all K–6 students complete lessons on their own school-issued tablet device
  • Community Partnerships—awarded two Youth Neighborhood Association Partnership Program (YNAPP) grants through the City of Las Vegas

Our Educational Philosophy

The faculty and staff at Innovations International Charter School of Nevada believe that each child enrolled in our school is a unique individual, capable of learning within a safe, caring, and stimulating school environment.

Our Responsibilities

Essentially, each faculty and staff member is a mentor who is responsible for guiding student success by encouraging students to make good choices and develop a sense of responsibility for their actions, thoughts, and learning.

As a school, it is our responsibility to create an atmosphere where teachers constantly challenge students to work hard. Teachers are the facilitators of knowledge and provide learning opportunities that challenge students to think on multiple levels as they prepare curriculum that focuses on college and career readiness.

What We Expect From Our Students

Students are responsible for taking in the information given them to make a personal connection for growth and academic achievement as they accept the daily challenges to master all subjects in preparation for life. This includes students actively participating in classroom discussions, completing class work assigned, doing their nightly homework, and preparing for exams.

It’s a Partnership

Parents are the child's first teachers. Not only do they prepare their child to enter the school as an independent student, but they are also responsible for supporting our school and their own child by following the school's example in setting high expectations for student achievement. Parents partner with the school to promote social, emotional, physical, and academic achievement. As they communicate with the school and teachers daily, parents are critical for providing information to help the teachers understand their child's needs.

The Community Connection

Community support is critical for promoting growth and academic achievement. The provision of resources and the sharing of community members' expertise and advice concerning the importance of education is a tremendous support to our program. These resources and/or experts provide knowledge and assistance in mastering the subject areas relevant to their own job requirements in an effort to better prepare students for life after the school experience.

Together, all of these factors help to create students who will be engaged in a life-long learning process while becoming prominent citizens and leaders of the future.
