Enrollment Process

Innovations has a four (4) step enrollment process:

1. Enrollment Request
2. Enrollment Process
3. Enrollment Status
4. Enrollment Notification
    

This is where the parent/guardian having an interest in Innovations should fill out the online form or contact the office to communicate his/her interest. Questions are answered and interested families are given an enrollment packet to be completed. Parents are informed of what accompanying documents are needed for completion of the enrollment process.

In the enrollment process, the completed enrollment packet for each child and the accompanying documents are returned to the school to be reviewed. Missing documents are requested at this time to ensure the enrollment packet is complete. Parents are advised that they will be contacted within 48 - 72 hours.

This is the time that the enrollment application is being processed by the school registrars. Full enrollment packets and supporting documents are given to the school’s administration for review.

This step takes place within 48 - 72 hours of the completion of the enrollment packet to include the review of documents by administration. Families are notified of acceptance or placement on the waiting list if there are no available seats. Once a seat opens, parents are contacted for continued interest and the lottery is pulled. Parents are again notified.

Children will be processed in a timely manner once their enrollment/re-enrollment packets are submitted to the school. The names of students who submit enrollment applications after the capacity is reached for each grade level will go on a waiting list. As space becomes available in grade levels due to students leaving the school, waiting list students are then selected to fill the vacated positions from a lottery-based system. For this lottery, students will be assigned a unique number and then a lottery drawing will be held and verified to admit students who have been selected. Parents are then notified for enrollment acceptance. 
 

Yes. All students, to include currently enrolled students, must complete an enrollment form each year they attend the school.

The following are supporting documents needed to complete the enrollment packet:

• Official birth certificate
• Immunization records
• Transcripts (middle and high school students)
• Proof of grade level completion (current report card)
• IEP (if applicable)
• Section 504 Plan (if applicable)
• RTI Plan (if applicable)
• Parent/Guardian driver’s license
• Proof of address (power bill, lease agreement, mortgage papers) - must be current and in the parent/guardian’s name
