Definition of CMO (Charter Management Organization): A charter management organization is an educational organization that operates charter schools in the United States. Charter schools are public schools that operate independently of the local government school district. A CMO contracts with a charter school to provide a specific service or set of services

Definition of EMO (Educational Management Organization): is a term that describes a for-profit entity that manages schools. It provides a distinction from charter management organization which is a non-profit manager of charter schools.

Innovations International Charter School of Nevada is an independent charter school and is not operated by a Charter Management Organization or an Educational Management Organization. The school does not receive services from either organization.

NRS 388A.354   Disclosure of information relating to charter management organizations and educational organizations

Innovations International Charter School of Nevada is an independent charter school and is not operated by a Charter Management Organization or an Educational Management Organization.

In accordance with NRS 388A.367, Innovations International Charter School of Nevada will provide written notification and prominent website posting of the following events if applicable:

  1. The high school graduation rate for the school year is less than 67%
  2. The charter school is rated in the lowest 5% of public schools in the State pursuant to the statewide system of accountability for public schools
  3. The charter school receives an annual rating established as one of the two lowest ratings possible indicating underperformance of a public school as determined by NDOE pursuant to the statewide system of accountability for public schools
