DISCOVER TOMORROW THROUGH STEAM EXPLORATION
At Innovations International Charter School of Nevada, students do more than learn about science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics. Through our STEAM SQUADRONS students engage in hands-on learning experiences that encourage creativity, exploration, innovation, collaboration, and problem solving while helping them develop confidence and future-ready skills.
Our STEAM SQUADRONS are intentionally aligned to our Teach-Practice-Explore (TPE) instructional model and our CODE student framework so students experience learning through direct instruction, guided practice, exploration, leadership development, and real-world application.
Through these experiences, students are encouraged to become creators, inventors, innovators, explorers, collaborators, and leaders for an ever-changing future.
Connecting Learning Through Purposeful Exploration
At Innovations, our STEAM squadrons are more than technology experiences. They are intentionally connected to our Teach-Practice-Explore (TPE) instructional model and our CODE student framework to help students learn through instruction, collaboration, hands-on exploration, innovation, and application of content knowledge. Through its connected approach, students are empowered to grow as creative thinkers, responsible leaders, and lifelong learners in a support academic environment.

Artificial Intelligence
Students work individually and collaboratively to explore coding, prediction models, problem solving, and human interaction while discovering how artificial intelligence is shaping the world around them.

Drones
Students explore drone piloting, coding, aerial photography, video production, and precision flight operations while strengthening teamwork, communication, and problem solving skills using real-world flight experiences.

Robotics
Students may work together to design a robotics system capable of navigating a simulated rescue mission while testing coding using precision and purpose, communication, and engineering skills.

Virtual Reality
Students may work individually or in groups to experience a simulated activity in a three dimensional environment with the assistance of a virtual headset. These headsets assist the students in becoming immersed in the learning process while providing experiences that create excitement about school and learning.
