What is STEAM Learning?
At Innovations, STEAM learning integrates science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics through active hands-on learning experiences that encourage exploration, inquiry, creativity, collaboration, and problem solving.
Rather than learning subjects in isolation, students are encouraged to make connections across disciplines, think critically, apply learning to real-world concepts, and develop innovative solutions through meaningful educational experiences. The Elementary Experience - Designing a Zoo Habitat
Kindergarten students may work together to organize a zoo using age-appropriate technology tools while learning about animals, habitats, organization, communication, and problem solving. Students discuss how to care for animals, design spaces, and explain their thinking through collaborative learning experiences.

The Middle School Experience - Bridge Construction Challenge
Students may work collaboratively to design and test bridge structures while exploring engineering concepts, measurement, teamwork, critical thinking, and problem solving. Students evaluate designs, make adjustments, and learn through experimentation and reflection.

The High School Experience - Microdrone Navigation
Students may learn to safely operate microdrones through obstacle courses while developing spatial awareness, communication, teamwork, precision, and technology skills. Some activities may incorporate virtual environments and simulation-based learning experiences.
